Our heater broke down and Paul was recommended to us by a friend. Nothing but the best service and transparency from Paul. Replaced and fixed our faulty ac fan for a good price and everything is working great. Great guy, good service, and excellent work. Fixing your AC is annoying and frustrating but if you want an honest guy working to get things fixed up call Paul.

Our LG Oven failed after running the Self Clean feature. Also the Oven Door was locked. I contacted Patriot Appliance Repair & HVAC. Paul came. He was able to open the Oven Door using a coat hanger. Then removed the oven out of the wall. Then removed the interior appliance panels. Troubleshooting identified two blown fuses. Quite amazing technical and customer service skills. Thank you Paul! He explained that the capacitor was the problem, and he explained how the AC system worked. I had a pleasure to use this company to replace the entire hvac system. Paul Laurentiu, the owner, showed up the same day I called, he inspected, took a video of the problem. I decided to replace the unit for a brand new one. He removed the old unit, installed the new one, cleaned up, took pictures, communicated throughout the process, and was very kind to explain everything and answers to the never ending questions, lol. I was getting ready for a long vacation when I heard a noise from my HVAC unit in the attic. I went to the Patriot web site when my A/C guy was 90 minutes late and didn't respond to my text. Paul was able to get to me quickly and investigated the noise. "I've never heard anything like that", something you don't want to hear from your repairman. Turns out an access panel gasket was loose, allowing metal on metal vibration. He moved the gasket into place and no more noise. I appreciated how quickly he arrived and diagnosed the problem, having me from worrying there might be something major wrong with my A/C unit.

Paul resolved the cooling issue and as always did a great job! He stayed late into the evening to make sure the job was done right. Highly recommend !

Paul w/Patriot first visited my S Austin home in 2023 for a check of my ACs. He communicated his ETA and was on time. My ACs were ok and Paul wouldnt take a dime. Fast forward 2 years. My downstairs AC was struggling to keep up. I contacted Paul late on a Sunday night; he responded in minutes and was on site the next afternoon. Like my first experience, he communicated his ETA and kept me updated as his ETA changed. Paul added freon and restored comfort to our home in minutes. He informed me that our systems use an older type of freon, and parts will be scarce in the future. Im a 30 year field service professional (managed 70% of the Covid testing in 4 states) and wish I had techs like Paul on my team. He is predictable, has excellent communication skills, sets clear expectations, and exceeds them. I wont go anywhere else for my HVAC needs.

Patriot Appliance recently installed a new HVAC unit in my home residence, and their service far exceeded my expectations. After shopping around, I found Paul's pricing to be more than reasonable. He's also no newbie - he's been doing this for over 20 years - so he does a great job of confidently detailing the process and choice of units. On the day of installation, they arrived promptly in the morning and worked all day to get things working right. After this first long day, he let me know the attic door and trim had to be removed. After they left, I also noticed the new unit installed was defective - not their fault, of course - but Paul promptly came back and addressed both issues. He added a new door and trim (that look even better than before if I may add) as well as changed the defective thermostat for me without a fuss. Everything works flawlessly now and I'm very much looking forward to staying cool this summer! Working with Patriot Appliance was seamless and professional and I'll definitely be calling them for any HVAC (and other appliance!) needs in the future!

Our LG washing machine stopped working. I suspected the water pump was out and after Paul stopped by to diagnose it was confirmed. Paul returned the following day and replaced the water pump and the machine is working as new again. I was impressed at the quick turn-around after the diagnosis and at the quality of service. Integrity. Thats a word I would use to describe our experience with Paul. Paul is absolutely AMAZING! My AC went out on a Friday in the middle of the day & several places I spoke with couldnt get anyone out because, Friday is our busiest day. When I called & spoke with Paul at Patriot, he never told me what he couldnt do, only what he could. He came to my house the same afternoon, diagnosed AND fixed the problem (bad capacitor) in no time! Paul is very personable, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cared. He knew I was laid up with a herniated disc; once he was paid he told me I needed to go lay down and get healthy! (He didnt have to say anything, hed already been paid, so I knew it was genuine.) Amazing service. Paul (the owner) came out late at night for emergency work without charging an extra fee. He was there within a couple of hours of calling when others wouldn't come out until Monday. An ACCURATE diagnosis and a QUICK repair!! After receiving completely inaccurate information from ARS with no repair at all for $109 (what a waste), Patriot came out and within an hour had our thermostat wiring problem diagnosed, fixed, and had the house cooling again. TL;DR - Old school, professional, fair, honest. Exactly what you'd like for an HVAC/Appliance pro. Long version - we had an issue with a relatively new fridge, this is always scary because appliance-repair people charge for the trip (makes sense, their time is valuable!) and you never really know if the repair will work or not. Paul, the owner, was super knowledgeable and informative. He did not dismiss our concerns or questions, and rather took the time to explain his prognosis and suggested solution. He told us from the get-go that it might not work, but given the inputs he explained, we decided to trust his judgement and go ahead with ordering parts. Paul got the parts, installed them, and violla - the fridge is operational, for 20% of the cost of a new fridge. That's a good trade as far as I'm concerned. I deal with Real Estate for a living and see many professionals, in this industry, unfortunately, many people are all show no value. Paul & Patriot Appliance seems to me to be the real deal, I will definitely work with them for my own rental portfolio and will refer other business their way. 5/5, easy.

We were getting landscaping work done and needed to remove the compressor outside. He came by and gave us a quote and moved it same day. Which allowed our contractor to get started asap. We also asked him to move the unit further down our yard so we had more space. He told us exactly what to tell our contractor so we had the space available and gave us a great quote for that. As you can imagine it was hot outside and when the landscaping was done we were eager to get the A/C back on-line and which he understood. He came in the evening and got us back online asap even tho it was after hours because he didnt want us to struggle in the heat any longer. We asked and he delivered. Paul was absolutely amazing!!! I called and he was able to get me an appointment for today (less than 24 hrs) from the time I called. He showed up on time and had my dryer fixed in about 15 min. Not only did he come out on a Sunday but in 20 degree weather as well. This is true top notch service!! Thank you again Paul.

Called Patriot and Ty came out first thing in the morning and fixed my AC great job

My HVAC unit went down in the evening, called like 6 places and the only company to answer was Paul and Patriot Appliance and Air-conditioning. Update: After a back and forth, the team came out and fixed the AC under warranty. Thanks! Unfortunately, these guys worked on our AC and the fix only lasted a day. When we called them to come back and take another looks (as wed already paid them a hefty amount), they ghosted us. Weve had to go through the brunt of the summer with no AC as a result.

I was very impressed with the detailed and precise air conditioner installation. And even though I called on short notice, they accommodated my request and scheduled a convenient visit for the assessment and actual installation. I plan to work with them again on future service calls.

Paul Definitely knows his Business and Is an Desicated Repairman. He Never Gives Up !! My 5 year old LG Refridgerator wasn't making Ice, then the interior Temp began to Rise I called Patriot Appliance Repair and spoke with Paul. After explaining my problem to him he came to my home the very next day. Paul did a Through inspection diagnosing that my LG Fridge Compressor had Failed and needed to be replaced ! Thank goodness there was a 10 year warranty on the compressor! I called LG to Complain about the Problem with my fridge which was ONLY 5 years old ! They shipped the new compressor quickly to Paul's Company. It has been a frustrating experience to say the Least ! Paul notified me that he had received the new compressor and was at my home the very next day ! He added me to his Extremely Busy Schedule and I cannot say how grateful I am to him. It was not an easy fix, but Paul accepted the challenge my Fridge gave to him ! Even though the new compressor did not work properly, at First, Paul is not a man who gives up easily! He worked 'His Magic' and with his experience and fortitude my LG Fridge is working again ! He even deducted his last 'Service Fee' for his Service Visit to repair the compressor and other Issues it was having ! I am Truly Appreciative of the Knowledge this man has with repairing my fridge ! Thank You Paul for your Expertise and Loyalty to your Profession! Made a call to have a technician come over. The owner not only troubleshooted the problem it he saved me from having to spend money to have someone come over. He was clear in his communication and calm. Would absolutely recommend if anybody needs appliance repair. Definitely will call again if I need help with my appliances.
